3. Booking and Payment Terms

  • Quotes: When you request a free estimate through our website or other communication channels, we will provide a quote outlining the cost of the service. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.
  • Deposits: A 50% deposit is required to confirm an appointment for the installation of Christmas lights. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and cash. All payments are due at the time specified in the invoice. Checks are not accepted.
  • Deferred Payment: In the event that a client is unable to provide the remaining balance on the day of installation, we may, at our discretion, proceed with the installation if the client agrees to one or more of the payment arrangements listed below. By proceeding with these arrangements, the client agrees to fulfill the outstanding payment by the specified date. Failure to comply with these terms may result in additional fees or penalties.
  • Credit Card Authorization: The client may be required to sign a credit card authorization form allowing us to charge the outstanding balance on the agreed future date.
  • Deferred Payment Agreement: The client may sign an agreement outlining the deferred payment date and any applicable terms.
  • Post-Dated Payment: The client may provide a post-dated check or schedule an automatic bank transfer to cover the balance on the agreed payment date.
  • Partial Additional Payment: The client may provide an additional partial payment upfront, with the remaining balance due on the agreed date.
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled installation date to avoid cancellation fees. Late cancellations may result in forfeiture of the deposit. A 10% administration fee will be retained for any cancellation.

4. Chargebacks and Disputes

  • If you have a dispute concerning any payment transaction, please contact us directly to resolve the issue.
  • Any unjustified chargeback claims against payments made to A Lit Noël will be contested by us through legal means. If a chargeback is made without first attempting to resolve the issue with us, this act will be deemed a breach of our terms.
